Naver will conduct the beta test of the game streaming platform ‘CHZZK’ starting December 19.

Naver, which has been providing various community services such as Knowledge iN, blogs, and cafes, has been building a specialized gaming community where game companies, creators, and users also come together in the gaming field. Currently, to provide rich gaming information, Naver operates Naver Game Lounge and Naver Esports pages and recently released a new ‘Game Board’ in line with the Naver app redesign.

Naver has strengthened its gaming community so far and launched ‘CHZZK’ to enable streamers and users to communicate in real-time and enjoy games more actively.

During the beta period, ‘CHZZK’ will gradually introduce features to check the convenience and stability of the service. Anyone can watch during the beta period, and there are plans to expand the streaming availability to more streamers. Naver aims to open ‘CHZZK’ in 2024 officially.

With the start of the beta service, ‘CHZZK’ will initially provide features such as a maximum resolution of 1,080p 60fps, a bitrate of 8Mbps, high-quality resolution, VOD replay, TTS voice support for sponsorship, and ‘CHZZK Studio’ to support streamers in communicating conveniently with fans. Through this, streamers can easily view various information for channel management, including subscriber-related data, detailed sponsorship history, and content analysis data.

In the future, ‘CHZZK’ will enhance its inherent competitiveness as a gaming community service through integration with various services owned by Naver, such as Naver Search, Game Board, Naver Cafe, and Clips. From December 19, viewers can sponsor streamers with ‘Cheese,’ the in-platform currency within CHZZK, and ‘Cheese’ can be conveniently purchased through Naver Pay. ‘CHZZK’ plans to continuously update features such as Naver Search integration, channel subscriptions, and video sponsorship until the official opening.

Meanwhile, Naver, located in Pangyo Techno Valley, the representative IT cluster in South Korea, officially introduced the Naver app with greatly expanded personalized recommendation services based on its large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) technology on November 2. The ‘CHZZK’ service is available through Naver Game’s PC web/mobile web and updated Naver Game app.
