AIA Life announced the release of their new healthcare platform, the ‘AIA Vitality X T Healthy Habit’ Galaxy Program. In partnership with South Korean companies Samsung Electronics, SK C&C, and SK Telecom, AIA Life launched the country’s first smartwatch AIA Vitality platform.

“Through the ‘AIA Vitality X T Healthy Habit’ Galaxy Program, we are excited to provide customers with not only insurance coverage, but also differentiated experience and services to help them build and maintain healthier lifestyles,” said Sohn Ik-joon, head of AIA Life’s Vitality Partnership and Experience Team.

As a way to provide support for users who want to get healthy, the companies introduced the ‘AIA Vitality X T Healthy Habit.’ They developed the program based on research links between smartwatches and people’s physical activity. The platform incorporates Samsung Electronics’ smartwatches and AIA Vitality, South Korea’s number one health and wellness platform.

Through the ‘AIA Vitality X T Healthy Habit’ Galaxy Program, users with AIA Vitality membership can avail exclusive rewards. Aside from vouchers, the program offers users exclusive deals when purchasing Samsung smartwatches including the Galaxy Watch 3. In addition, members can obtain cashback rewards by accomplishing weekly AIA Vitality fitness goals.

“At a time when personal health is a top priority, we are pleased to be able to provide customers with greater benefits by offering our smartwatch devices, which have strengthened hyper-personalized healthcare service capabilities, in combination with Korea’s largest health and wellness platform, AIA Vitality,” said Gyewon Lee, head of Samsung Electronics’ Domestic Enterprise Market.

“AIA Life will continue to expand AIA Vitality program offerings in line with our purpose as a company to enable ‘Healthier, Longer, Better Lives,’” continued Sohn. The Galaxy Program is AIA Life’s latest addition to their upgraded insurance and healthcare platform, which was launched in 2018. AIA Vitality is a health tracker that provides personalized workouts, health measurements and screenings, balanced diet tips, and more.

In November last year, AIA Korea partnered with Samsung Electronics, SK C&C, and SK Telecom for relaunching the AIA Vitality. The upgraded version offers better health courses, discounts, and rewards.
