One of the notable sectors in which Naver’s HyperCLOVA X is gaining ground is gaming. The company’s AI prowess is being embraced by Smilegate AI Center, which has agreed with the Naver Cloud Platform. This memorandum of understanding (MOU) paves the way for synergistic collaborations centered around HyperCLOVA X.Â
Naver anticipates that by exploring the capabilities of HyperCLOVA X, it can amplify its profitability through an increased array of collaborative endeavors and a deepened exploration of the potential of large AI models. The company envisions forming partnerships with various enterprises.Â
Recently, the game developer Smilegate has inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Naver Cloud to leverage HyperCLOVA X for a strategic initiative jointly. This partnership is expected to help Smilegate to enhance operational efficiency and resource optimization in game development with the help of research and development capabilities enabled by HyperCLOVA X.Â
Moreover, the collaboration presents exciting prospects for elevating in-game non-player characters and the promotion of metahumans for a richer and more immersive gaming experience.
In the finance sector, several collaborations have made it to the news including with SK C&C, Korea Investment & Securities, and Obzen. SK C&C has earmarked HyperCLOVA X to craft expansive AI service models tailored for the distinct requirements of the financial sector, encompassing banking, securities, cards, insurance, and capital.
In a bid to broaden the scope of HyperCLOVA X’s application, Naver has formed strategic partnerships with a range of companies spanning different industries.Â
Hancom, a global SaaS enterprise, has joined hands with Naver Cloud to seamlessly integrate HyperCLOVA X into Hancom Office. With the majority of HyperCLOVA X’s learning data being in Korean. With this collaboration, functionalities tailored for educational institutions and research organizations are anticipated by industry experts.Â
“I anticipate that Hancom will introduce a document creation service tied to HyperCLOVA X,” stated Park Jong-sun, a researcher at Eugene Investment & Securities. “This move is expected to bring generative AI into HyperCLOVA X and offer document creation services for educational and public purposes using AI editors.”
Likewise, Edutech firm Ubion aims to roll out an AI-driven learning platform powered by HyperCLOVA X. Car-sharing company Socar intends to augment its services, encompassing customer response and order management, by incorporating the features of HyperCLOVA X, paving the way for enhanced user experiences.
“Around a month ago, the NAVER AI RUSH program welcomed the engagement of 20 tech startups presently engrossed in crafting demonstration services utilizing HyperCLOVAX,” conveyed a representative from NAVER.
