Samsung Electronics introduces SMART Signage digital displays for better-looking, eye-catching, cost-efficient, versatile, and flexible signage aimed at consumers, businesses, and retail providers. Digital signage creates a more visible impact not only for consumers but also for businesses. It also reduces overhead costs for businesses.

The benefits of digital signage as compared to analog signage could apply to digital menu boards in restaurants. Samsung SMART Signage gives a significant advantage over the use of static lightbox menus.

According to Samsung, digital signage initially costs more but could save around 11.5 million won ($10,000) after five years. It could also reward a higher return of investment within two years of installation. A business that operates 250 stores equates to an estimated 2.87 billion won ($2.5 million) in savings from using digital menu boards.

Samsung said a quick-service restaurant (QSR) with 250 branches would need six lightbox-style analog menu boards. The QSR needs to replace the required six printed menu boards, typically every two months. Also, the fluorescent lamps for lightboxes and electrical ballasts should get replaced every eighteen months, not to mention maintenance fees.

Using digital menu boards quickly reduces costs and other expenses about new printouts for static menu boards.

Aside from savings, Samsung SMART Signage could deliver a variety of content images and dynamic videos. The images and videos also contain vivid and vibrant colors. Samsung SMART Signage also operates 24/7, which offers day and night visibility, ensuring deep consumer engagement.

MagicINFO Content Management Solution

Samsung’s MagicINFO content management solution enables users to conveniently accomplish all of its visual signage from one centralized location. Digital signage increases flexibility and allows businesses to update promotions, offerings, and messages readily. The quick updates permit business owners to prevent missed sales opportunities and slowdowns brought by analog and static lightbox menus.
