Samsung Electronics launched on Wednesday its next-generation Odyssey G9 curved gaming monitor internationally. The Odyssey G9, introduced at Consumers Electronics Show 2020, completes the Odyssey lineup along with the recently released G7. Samsung elevated the gaming experience by combining the properties of perfect picture quality, comfortable curvature, and immersive interaction.
TĂśV Rheinland, a global certification organization, certified the Odyssey series premium monitors with the industry’s best Eye Comfort and high performance 1000R Curved Display certificate.
The Odyssey G9 monitor supports High Dynamic Range (HRD) 10+, enabling a cutting-edge picture quality employing a combination of HDR1000 panel and Quantum dot technology. The Odyssey G9 boasts a 49-inch QLED picture quality in dual QHD monitor with a rapid 1-millisecond response time and 240 Hz refresh rate.
The advanced design of the Odyssey G9 also earned the Innovation Awards in the CES 2020 for Computer Peripherals and Accessories category.
Moreover, the G9 displays an ultramodern design with a white and glossy exterior. It contains an Infinity Core Lighting property offering five lighting effects options and 52 distinctive colours behind the display. The lighting and design effects stick out and compliment any gaming system.
