I-BRICKS (CEO Chae Jong-hyun), a Korean language processing company, received the Gyeonggi-do Governor’s Commendation at the G-Venture Award ceremony, held on December 14th in celebration of Gyeonggi-do Venture Entrepreneurs Day, in recognition of its external competitiveness and its contribution to setting an example as a venture company.

The Gyeonggi Excellent Venture Company Award is a recognition awarded to excellent venture companies (companies) that have contributed to the development of local economies in Gyeonggi Province, and are selected by evaluating technology development and investment, technology and quality, management evaluation (growth, stability, profitability, employment creation), ESG management, and contribution to the national economy.

I-BRICKS received the award in recognition of its contribution to the development of the domestic IT convergence industry by strengthening digital competitiveness through research and development of AI-based technologies and its contribution to the national economy by fostering software talent and creating employment. In fact, I-BRICKS has been hiring double-digit employees every year, and many of its employees are experts with natural language processing skills, making it a solution-based business utilizing AI technology.

In addition, we are constantly discovering and investing in convergence industry models through diversifying business areas for future growth engines. Recently, it has developed its own Korean-specific large-scale language model (LLM) ‘BRICK’ and is in the process of introducing it to large companies and public institutions.

“I-BRICKS has been growing the company through constant changes and challenges to new technologies. I think we have been selected as an excellent venture company in Gyeonggi-do in recognition of our contributions.” “We will continue to research and discover more specialized technologies that only I-BRICKS can do, strengthen our capabilities, and strive to become a leading venture company that creates good success stories through various attempts,” said Jonghyun Chae, CEO of I-Bricks.

Meanwhile, I-BRICKS, located in 1st Pangyo, received the Ministerial Commendation at the ‘2023 Korea ICT Awards’ organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT on December 12.
