South Korea’s telecom leader KT Corp. has entered into a strategic partnership with Kyndryl Holdings Inc., a U.S.-based IT infrastructure services firm, to accelerate its artificial intelligence transformation (AX) initiatives. The agreement, signed in San Francisco, represents a significant step in KT’s broader plan to evolve from a traditional telecommunications provider into a full-scale digital transformation partner for enterprises.
The partnership brings together KT’s telecommunications and cloud expertise with Kyndryl’s global capabilities in IT infrastructure design, system management, and cybersecurity. Together, the two companies plan to co-develop and deliver AI-powered solutions designed for business-to-business (B2B) customers, particularly those operating in regulated industries such as finance and the public sector.

Under the agreement, KT and Kyndryl will:
