Samsung Electronics Co. hosted the Bespoke Home 2020, a new online platform for showcasing Samsung Home Appliances globally. During the virtual event, Samsung introduced the portfolio expansion of Bespoke, its customizable home appliance lineup with related lifestyle solutions.
In addition to highlighting the Bespoke refrigerator lineup expansion, Samsung announced that it would globally launch more Bespoke home products. In particular, Samsung would soon release new integrated Internet of Things solutions, lifestyle appliances, and a Bespoke Kitchen package. According to the South Korean electronics company, these product releases ensure home life improvements by providing intelligent, flexible personalization functions.
The President of Samsung’s Digital Appliance Business also shared that the Bespoke lineup expansion aims to offer all-inclusive solutions. Moreover, the Bespoke lifestyle solutions would meet customers’ emerging need for products that could help them manage their lives better. Similarly, in March, Samsung shared that it aims to apply the Bespoke concept to all future home appliances launches.
Going Global
Samsung’s Bespoke portfolio expansion includes regions in the CIS, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North America. The company would also extend the global Bespoke product release to selected countries in Africa and Asia. Furthermore, Samsung introduced limited Bespoke varieties for specific regions. For instance, the North American Bespoke launch includes exclusive metal colors for refrigerator products. Besides incorporating Samsung’s advanced capacity and cooling technologies, Bespoke also supports numerous colors and finishes, giving customers many combination options.
The worldwide Bespoke expansion also features the new Bespoke Kitchen package. This package marks Samsung’s first Bespoke product release beyond refrigerators, introducing customizable kitchen appliances. Aside from providing the flagship refrigerators, the Bespoke Kitchen includes cooktops, dishwashers, microwaves, and more. The package also complements existing Bespoke products, with color choices such as Matte Black Steel, Navy Steel, and White Glass.
“Samsung’s position as a lifestyle brand is growing in global markets, and we’re ready to demonstrate our leadership in design by showcasing the unlimited possibilities of Bespoke,” said Harry Choi, Head of Samsung Electronics’ Digital Appliances Design Team. Choi also said that Samsung’s products aim to upgrade simple home appliances into artistic statement pieces for customers’ homes.
Expanded Appliances Lineup
As part of the Bespoke expansion, Samsung would launch new versatile lifestyle appliances that would address customers’ day-to-day needs. Some of the products include the Bespoke AirDresser, which delivers clothing care, and the Bespoke air purifier, which supports an ultra-fine purification system that removes dust 99.9%. The expanded Bespoke portfolio also comes with the Bespoke Jet and Jet Bot AI+, which provide intelligent, extensive cleaning solutions.
Additionally, Samsung would introduce the new Bespoke ShoeDresser, the modular Bespoke Cube refrigerator, and the Bespoke water purifier with multi-faucet. Samsung also designed the expanded Bespoke lineup to support the SmartThings app. Notably, Samsung would offer SmartThings connectivity to various Bespoke solutions, including SmartThings Air, SmartThings Cooking, and SmartThings Pet. Separately, in April, Samsung reported that its SmartThins Find network had registered over 70 million helper devices.
