Samsung Electronics formally presented three new Galaxy flagship phones at the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event. The Galaxy S21 flagship lineup includes the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Samsung streamed the hour-long show through various online platforms, and it amassed more than 57 million viewers around the globe.
“We are living in a mobile-first world, and with so many of us working remotely and spending more time at home, we wanted to deliver a smartphone experience that meets the rigorous multimedia demands of our continuously changing routines,” said Roh Tae-moon, President of Samsung’s IT and Mobile Communications.
Importance of Choice
Equipped with either the Exynos 2100 processor or the Snapdragon 888, the Galaxy S21 lineup showcases new features and designs. All three S21 releases support 5G technology and a refresh rate of 120 hertz. The Galaxy S21 series is available in six colors: Phantom Black, Phantom Violet, Phantom Silver, Phantom Grey, Phantom White, and Phantom Pink.
Samsung designed the Galaxy S21 for users who want a light and compact smartphone with a 6.2-inch screen dimension. While the Galaxy S21+ provides a larger battery and 6.7-inch display, designed for gaming and streaming. According to Samsung, they designed both the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21+ to boost efficiency for video and photography.
Samsung also introduced their largest S21 smartphone release, the S21 Ultra, which is equipped with a 6.8-inch screen. They furnished the S21 Ultra with enhanced professional-grade 108-megapixel cameras. Additionally, the Galaxy Ultra model supports the S-Pen stylus, a gadget that was only used exclusively in Galaxy Note releases.
“We also recognize the importance of choice, especially now, and that’s why the Galaxy S21 series gives you the freedom to choose the best device for your style and needs,” continued Roh. Samsung Electronics and other South Korean mobile carriers have immediately started accomplishing pre-orders after the online show. The world’s largest smartphone manufacturer will officially release the Galaxy S21 series worldwide on January 29.
Galaxy Buds Pro
Through the online event, Samsung also launched the wireless Galaxy Buds Pro, their earphones quipped with intelligent active noise cancellation technology. With a setup called System in Package, the Galaxy Buds Pro allows users to switch between noise cancelling and ambient sound using two-way speakers.
The Galaxy Buds Pro filters 99 percent of outside noises, and it features AKG acoustics as well as 360-degree audio. Users can also connect two sets of Galaxy Buds Pro in a single phone, allowing the sharing of pro-grade sound. With three ear-sizes to choose from, the earphones offer users a secure seal and a comfortable fit. To match the shade of the S21 smartphones, the earphones are available in three colors including black, violet, and silver.
