Samsung Electronics Co. revealed on Monday its partnership with K-pop sensation BTS through its special edition Galaxy S20 Plus BTS Edition smartphones and earbuds.

Samsung launched the BTS special edition of the Galaxy S20 Plus 5G, S20 Plus, and the Galaxy Buds Plus.

Bangtan Boys or more popularly known as BTS consists of a seven-member boy band with fast-rising popularity in South Korea and the US.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus BTS edition showcases a metal and a fancy purple glass exterior.  The color purple is greatly connected with the K-pop group. The phone includes the boy band’s purple heart icon on the camera and a BTS logo at the back. The 5G phone would be available for pre-orders on July 1 and priced at 1.4 million won (US$1,155).

The BTS Edition of Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus highlights the BTS-inspired Android motif along with a Weverse app, a social media platform used by fans of BTS. The BTS edition also includes photo cards of the band in the box.  The phone still carries similar specifications as the regular Galaxy S20 Plus with a 5G support connection, a 6.7-inch display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a five-camera system on the back.

Samsung offers a free BTS poster for every customer who buys the Galaxy S20 Plus and the Galaxy Earbuds as well.

The Galaxy Buds BTS Edition would be available on June 15 at the Weverse app. Both the Galaxy S20 phone BTS Edition and Galaxy Buds debuts on June 19 at the Samsung Website.

Samsung would offer the devices internationally on the seventh anniversary of the BTS ARMY fan collective happening on July 9, 2020.
