Samsung Electronics on Wednesday revealed a new collection of home appliances aimed at European consumers at an online event, “Life Unstoppable.” The new home appliances feature human-centered innovations in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the virtual press conference, Samsung exhibited its latest products, including washing appliances, television, projector, and smartphones. The South Korean tech giant focuses on bringing seamless connectivity in work, entertainment, and daily living.
Benjamin Braun, chief marketing officer of Samsung Europe, stated that the company would continuously motivate its consumers through innovative technologies.
With the future in mind, Samsung re-evaluated its technological advancement goals in an unexpected way to current situations.
The company chose not to join the IFA 2020 to showcase its new products due to the ongoing pandemic. Instead, Samsung held its interactive event that would allow consumers to experience its new products virtually.
Samsung Showcases New products
Samsung revealed the “Premiere,” a new home cinema projector that could deliver flawless 4K picture quality through triple laser technology. The Premiere comes in two sizes of 120 inches and 130 inches sizes.
Also making its European debut, the Terrace television could get installed in balconies and gardens for maximum outdoor viewing experience. The Terrace also comes in 55, 65, and 75-inch variations in Europe.
Samsung would also launch the Premiere and the Terrace in France, Germany, and Italy.
Samsung’s new curved gaming monitor, the Odyssey G5 series, made its entrance via the Unstoppable event. The gaming monitor, improved with more display options, offer a 144Hz refresh rate and a Flicker-Free technology, which reduces eye fatigue and is built-in 27-inch and 32-inch models.
The company also launched washing appliances complete with upgraded artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. The new WW9800T Washing machine and DV8000T Tumble Dryer offers a smart and energy-efficient laundry system.
Launching this October in Europe, the Bespoke refrigerator offers flexibility to personalize and reflect the consumer’s lifestyle. Samsung’s Space Max technology maximizes the refrigerator’s internal storage, making it more minimalistic in design.
The company also unveiled the Galaxy Fit 2 wristband equipped with upgraded features for fitness tracking and Wireless Charger Trio, charging three devices at once.
