Samsung Electronics Co. introduced the all-new next-generation, mobile computing-optimized devices, the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360. To deliver new mobile computing approaches, Samsung collaborated with the market-leading companies Intel and Microsoft. As a result, Samsung enabled the Galaxy Book Pro Series to provide continuous workflow between PCs and smartphones across OSs.

According to Samsung, the Galaxy Book Pro Series provides advanced mobile computing for improved connectivity, allowing users to join a broader Galaxy ecosystem. In addition to offering ultra-portability and an expansive multi-device ecosystem, the new releases also support users’ creativity, entertainment, and productivity.

Mobile-Inspired Design

Samsung specially designed the Galaxy Book Pro Series with mobile-first users’ needs and routines in mind, providing better everyday functions. In particular, Samsung developed the PCs to be its most portable models yet, furnishing them with military-grade alloys for durability. To achieve maximum portability, Samsung equipped the new laptops with long-lasting battery life, eliminating users’ worry of halting tasks due to depleted battery levels.

The Galaxy Book Pro Series also comes with a 65W ultra-fast charger with a USB Type-C adapter. Besides providing secure 5G and LTE support, the new laptops are Wi-Fi 6E-ready, producing faster 6GHz connectivity and more bandwidth. Moreover, these supported technologies allow users to set up makeshift, mobile conference rooms, offices, or theaters regardless of their locations.

Super AMOLED Display

Thanks to their state-of-the-art hardware, Samsung’s Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 could give users immersive entertainment experiences. Specifically, the new PCs are the company’s first-ever releases to include Super AMOLED displays. These display technologies generate less blue light, reducing digital eyestrain and boosting users’ productivity.

The world-leading inspection, testing, and verification company SGS also granted the Super AMOLED displays with the Eye Care Display Certification. Additionally, the displays’ Intelligent Color Engine technology fine-tunes colors, presenting more vivid games and movies and enhancing photo-editing functions.

Productivity-Tailored Performance

In partnership with Intel, Samsung powered the Galaxy Book Pro Series with the Intel Iris Xe and Intel Core Processor. Aside from producing immersive visuals and uninterrupted connectivity, these solutions automatically regulate the devices’ battery consumption, fan noise, and temperature. The PCs’ Intelligent Performance Manager also skillfully adjusts to the users’ surroundings and system load, allowing easy and steady multitasking.

“Galaxy Book Pro 360 and Galaxy Book Pro combine the mobility, connectivity, and continuity of a smartphone with the performance users expect from a PC to deliver a seamless mobile computing powerhouse like no other,” said Chai Won-Cheol, Head of Samsung Electronics Mobile Communications Product Planning Team.

Samsung’s new laptop releases also offer numerous performance-enhancing features, including the upgraded Pro Keyboard with improved speed and a broader touchpad. The PCs include the Samsung Studio Plus, where users could access screen and voice recording functions and other editing tools.
