Samsung Electronics Co., one of the world’s largest TV manufacturers, officially unveiled the 2021 version of ‘The Wall,’ a next-generation modular display. According to the company, The Wall reimagines existing display technologies, giving customers freedom and flexibility to exhibit content.

Delivering Outstanding Picture Quality

The new TV notably supports a new Micro AI Processor, which rapidly scans and optimizes each content frame to generate the best possible picture quality. The Micro AI Processor also utilizes 16 different neural network types.

Moreover, Samsung optimized these neural networks to offer deep learning and AI upscaling operations. As a result, the upgraded AI processor enhances contrast and eliminates noise. The neural networks also enable the Micro AI Processor to generate 8K-resolution picture quality.

Making Installation More Versatile

The 2021 The Wall model also makes installation easier due to its bezel-less design and improved wireless docking connection. Thanks to its modular technology, users could place The Wall TV in various positions, including concave, convex, inclined, and L-type.

In addition to supporting versatile installation options, The Wall removes the time-consuming module-by-module tweaking with the Factory Seam Adjustment feature.

Creating An Expansive Content Canvas

Furthermore, The Wall is the industry’s first-ever 8K-resolution TV with a Simple 8K playback and 120Hz refresh rate. Users could also configure The Wall horizontally with a 16K resolution and a 15,360 x 2,160-pixel arrangement.

The Wall’s 2021 version’s screen size also reached more than 1,000 inches, providing a fully expansive platform for displaying content. Besides giving The Wall a 1,000-inch screen, Samsung equipped the new model with Micro HDR and Micro Motion technologies.

These technologies also feature 20-bit processing, supporting trouble-free viewing experiences and consistent picture qualities for commercial environment applications. What’s more, The Wall contains numerous picture-by-picture screens, enabling various sources to display content in 4K resolution simultaneously.

Offering Dynamic Display Tech

“Samsung is dedicated to creating the most innovative displays for those at the forefront of video creation and brand experiences,” said Ha Hye-sung, Senior VP of Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business.

Ha also noted that the 2021 model marks one of Samsung’s most immersive and dynamic display technologies so far. Additionally, the Samsung official stated that The Wall remarkably gives businesses and customers complete control to build their planned environments.

In line with The Wall’s latest model release, Samsung aims to lead the global commercial display market’s paradigm shift.
