Samsung Electronics Co. unveiled the expanded Smart Monitor lineup, officially announcing its global availability. In November 2020, the South Korean tech giant launched the Smart Monitor series. This series provides all-around connectivity, on-device speakers, solar cell-activated controls, and various integrated multimedia and work apps.

Stay-at-home orders have significantly increased since the pandemic began. Following the orders’ implementations, many users have modified their homes into multipurpose spaces, including entertainment, learning, and working environments.

The company specifically optimized the series for the current business and academia scene. As a result, the lineup effectively provided the needs of consumers seeking entertainment, studying, and working at home. Additionally, the Smart Monitor lineup introduced the world’s first do-it-all display.

“Our expanded Smart Monitor lineup will continue to provide users with even more convenient and flexible ways to accomplish everyday activities through technology,” said Hyesung Ha, Senior VP of Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business. Ha also said that the new additions would enable users to complete a broad task range using mobile and PC.

Enabling Users to ‘Do It All’

Samsung’s newest additions to the Smart Monitor include the M7 43”, the M5 27” and 32”, and the M5 24”. Moreover, M7, the Smart Monitor’s flagship model, improves user productivity and delivers enhanced entertainment features. Samsung also equipped M7 with a 43-inch display with borderless designs that provide immersive experiences.

In addition to its innovative design, M7 supports a 4K Ultra-High Definition (UHD) screen. Thanks to this tech, users could switch M7’s functionality easily. In particular, users could utilize M7 as a reliable work gadget and entertainment device with HDR10 technologies and streaming services.

Next, users could now acquire the popular M5 in 27 and 32-inch models. Samsung also furnished M5 with a smooth and ultramodern design. Aside from its sleek exterior, M5’s new white color perfectly harmonizes with the series’ minimalist design. M5’s new color also complements almost any interior arrangement, supporting design-conscious users’ needs.

Meanwhile, the 24-inch M5 model comes with a brand new Full HD form factor. This added solution makes the 24-inch M5 the most convenient Smart Monitor regarding dimensions and pricing. Samsung said that the 24-inch M5’s compactness is ideal for users who don’t have enough desk room for larger devices. The 24-inch M5 is also perfect for users looking for multipurpose monitors at reasonable prices.

Additionally, according to Samsung, the latest lineup includes the smartest monitors users could acquire on markets today. Separately, as part of its goal to deliver high-performance solutions, Samsung released the mobile-inspired Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360 in April.
