Samsung Electronics introduces its latest 2021 TV display models, which include the, MICRO LED, Neo QLED and Lifestyle TV models. The displays boast of the company’s dedication to innovation, accessibility, sustainability, and redefines the role of TV in households.
Samsung’s 8K (QN900A) and 4K (QN90A) models would contain the new Neo QLED display technology with Quantum Mini LED light source. The Quantum Mini LED light source features 1/40 the height of a conventional LED and utilizes thin micro layers to scatter light. The Neo QLED enhances the luminance scale to 12-bit with 4096 steps and helps with HDR imaging.
The display monitors showcase Quantum Matrix Technology with the Neo Quantum Processor that contains up to 16 different neural networks. AI and deep learning technology embedded in the monitors also optimize picture quality.
The Neo QLED 8K model includes an Infinity One Design with an almost bezel-less screen and a Slim One Connect cable system. The Audio System contains Object Tracking Sound Pro and SpaceFit Sound which create an immersive audio experience.
Additionally, Neo QLED models feature Super Ultrawide GameView and Game Bar, Samsung Health, and in-home exercise Smart Trainer. The monitors also allow video calls from phones and connects a PC to the TV through Google Duo.
Samsung earlier revealed its new Micro LED TV lineups which comes in 99 -inch and 110-inch models. Smaller models would also roll out by the end of the year.
Samsung emphasizes the LED TV’s 4Vue (Quad View) for viewing up to four content sources simultaneously on a single screen. The Micro LED TV also include a 99% screen-to-body ratio along with Majestic Sound.
Going Green Initiative
Samsung’s Lifestyle TV line includes a half thinner frame and offers five colors for the bezel. Samsung Lifestyle models include The Serif, The Sero, The Terrace and the Premiere.
Samsung’s “Going Green” initiative, aligns its TV business operations with long-term sustainability programs that includes reducing its carbon footprint. Samsung also introduced the Solar Cell Remote Control, a TV remote that uses indoor and outdoor light or a USB.
The 2021 QLED and Neo QLED models contain new accessibility features like Sign Language Zoom, Caption Moving, and Multi-Output Audio. The company would also expand its Voice Guide feature providing audio guidance to the hearing or vision impaired by 2022,
JH Han, Samsung Electronics’ president of Visual Display Business stated that the company strives for sustainability and innovation for its customers. The company provides accessibility features and unique personal viewing experiences based on an individual’s lifestyle.
