Samsung Electronics on Wednesday introduced its latest lines of SD cards, the PRO Plus and EVO Plus, which include enhanced durability and remarkable speeds. The PRO Plus and EVO Plus SD cards enable consumers and content creators to work effortlessly across a wide selection of devices, including mirrorless and compact cameras, DSLRs, PCs, and camcorders.

Mike Mang, Samsung’s VP for Memory Brand Product Biz Team, said that consumers worldwide trusted Samsung in delivering high-performance cards. The company fulfilled that trust by improving the SD cards to endure intensive use and the harshest conditions.

The PRO Plus offers a sequential read speed of up to 100MBps and a write speed of up to 90MBps. The PRO Plus’ sequential write performance allows flawless 4K UHD video recording and burst shots for cinematographers, professional photographers, and YouTubers. The EVO Plus guarantees a smooth playback in editing 4K and Full HD videos with transfer speehttp://galaxyd up to 100MBps.

Pro Plus and Evo Plus come in four storage capacities ranging from 32-gigabyte (GB), 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. Users could add extra storage without difficulty to enjoy more rich content on their devices.

Creating Memorable Moments

Samsung created the PRO Plus and EVO Plus to bring out beautiful and cherished memories from personal and professional photos and videos. These photos and videos frequently travel with us from one adventure to the next. The PRO Plus and EVO Plus, especially built with comprehensive seven-proof protection, help users capture unique moments in extreme conditions.

The SD cards display increased protection from water, temperature, x-ray, magnet, and shocks. The PRO Plus and EVO Plus also come in drop-proof and wear out-proof cards, withstanding up to five-meter drop and up to 10,000 swipes. Both lineups carry a 10-year limited warranty and would become available this month.

The 128GB capacity for the PRO Plus and the EVO Plus costs 28,600 won ($24.99) and 22,900 won ($19.99), respectively. Meanwhile, the 256GB capacity model costs 51,500 won ($44.99) for the PRO Plus and 45,800 won ($39.99).
