Samsung makes the biggest announcement concerning its new series launch. As per the announcement, users can now expect Beta for One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 in the coming weeks. It will start with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. The company confirmed the beta launch on Tuesday, August 31.

The new version will have several AI innovations and improved user experience changes. The Google Pixel model is said to be receiving the final update of the new Android version before anyone. However, Samsung models are not behind in preparing for One UI 4.0 based on Android 12.

Samsung made the announcement on its community forum. It said, “One UI 4.0 coming soon with Android 12 on Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Experience the new Galaxy interface!” It also mentioned that it would be available on the unlocked Samsung’s unlocked S21 series on Sprint and T-mobile. The series presently includes Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra.

The teaser is similar to what the company published early in August; however, the announcement added further information about the launch.

Android versions typically come out around the third quarter every year. In early October last year, Samsung launched its first Android 12 beta to the public. It included some developer previews. However, the access was limited.

Although the Android 12 beta announcement did not clearly mention the public beta version, many experts conclude that the formulation of the news suggests a public beta version. The weeks ahead will clear the air whether all users will be a part of the beta program.

At present, from what’s publicly known, users confirm that Samsung is not making the Beta available for every user. One has to apply for access through the Samsung Members App on any of the newly launched devices of the Galaxy S21 series. Users will be given a form that they have to fill. It does not end here. Only the ones whose applications are approved will become a part of the Beta program.
