Naver Corp. has launched a new one-hour delivery service called “Delivery Now,” beginning with a partnership with CU convenience stores. The service allows customers to order items from nearby CU locations through the Naver Plus Store (Neplis) app or website, with delivery promised within approximately one hour for users located within a 1.5-kilometer radius.
Available daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., the service requires a minimum order of KRW 10,000 and uses CU’s motorcycle delivery network. This marks Naver’s first collaboration with a convenience store chain for quick commerce, as the tech giant strengthens its push into the competitive e-commerce and rapid delivery space.
At launch, around 3,000 CU stores will offer the “Delivery Now” service, with Naver planning to expand coverage to 4,000 more locations. The move is part of Naver’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in quick commerce through strategic partnerships.
Deliveries will be handled using CU’s dedicated two-wheeled vehicle network, operating daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for orders over KRW 10,000. A delivery fee of KRW 3,000 applies, but orders exceeding KRW 20,000 are eligible for a KRW 3,000 discount coupon, encouraging higher-value purchases.
Naver will introduce a new “Nearby Search” feature next month, allowing users to view participating stores on a map interface. This function aims to make it easier for users to locate stores offering the one-hour delivery service in their vicinity.
The service is a rebranding of Naver’s previous grocery delivery initiative, reflecting the platform’s shift toward faster, location-based commerce. “We rebranded our existing grocery service as ‘Now Delivery’ in response to increasing user demand for rapid delivery,” said Joomi Lee, head of Naver’s N Delivery Business.
Through the Naver Plus Store, users can search for items and see which stores—ranging from convenience stores to supermarkets—offer one-hour delivery within a 1.5-kilometer radius. The updated model combines product discovery with local availability, making quick commerce more accessible for everyday needs.
