LG Electronics introduced the new 2021 LG TONE Free FP8 and FP9 earbuds, enhancing its wireless stereo listening experience. The latest models support various improvements besides offering active noise cancellation, premium Meridian-tuned sound, a snug in-ear fit, and a UVnano charging case.
The industry-leading South Korean electronics company also teamed up with a design technology lab specializing in ergonomics. As a result of their studies, they developed the Arc Design, an earbud stem 4.4 millimeters shorter than previous releases.
Last year, LG unveiled the LG HBS-FN7, diversifying its earbud portfolio and delivering highly advanced audio technology. Meanwhile, the LG TONE Free FP8 and FP9 would launch across global markets this month in various colors, including black, white, and gold.
Offering Better Performance
The latest LG TONE Free lineup additions also feature the Meridian Audio Headphone Spatial Processing and 3D Sound Stage. These technologies use spatial up-mixing to deliver more naturalistic audio and broaden the sound stage, improving overall listening experiences.
Aside from making user input clearer and minimizing ambient noise, FP8 and FP9 offer improved calling experiences with Whispering Mode. With this feature, users could access better clarity and privacy by using an earbud as a dedicated microphone.
The new models also provide active noise canceling, resulting in decreased low-frequency sounds. Additionally, the TONE Free earbuds neutralize ambient noises by generating sound waves inaudible to users, leaving only pure audio content.
Furthermore, FP8 and FP9 include the auto-cleaning UVnano charging case, which keeps earbuds clean and reduces inner ear infection risks. LG also equipped the cases with UV-C LED technologies and medical-grade hypoallergenic ear gels, removing 99.9% of earbuds speaker bacteria while wirelessly charging.
Enhancing User Convenience
LG’s newest earbuds support enhanced user convenience by offering wide-ranging compatibility, seamless connectivity, and topmost durability. The FP8 and FP9 also swiftly and smoothly connect with various devices through the Plug & Wireless feature.
What’s more, LG’s 2021 TONE Free models ensure longer battery life, supplying a 10-hour playback time between charges and a 24-hour usage while with the case. After a quick, five-minute charging, the additions could deliver over an hour of listening time.
Lastly, users could pair LG’s latest earbuds with the TONE Free app to access more features. Some of these utilities include the Ambient Sound mode, control customizations, an equalizer, and Find My Earbuds. The app also contains LAB, a tool that provides access to special settings.
