LG CNS, under the leadership of CEO Hyun Shin-gyun, has inaugurated the ‘Gen AI Studio’ at its headquarters in Magok, Seoul. This specialized facility is designed to facilitate tailored participation programs, leveraging generative artificial intelligence (AI) to support innovation among corporate clients.

The ‘Gen AI Studio’ is a dedicated space for corporate customers to engage with LG CNS’s generative AI solutions. By offering hands-on experience with these AI-driven services, LG CNS plans to assist businesses in effectively accelerating their innovation processes.

LG CNS recognizes the challenges faced by businesses in adopting generative AI innovation and hence addresses these obstacles by establishing a dedicated studio. This initiative is intended to provide comprehensive support throughout the integration of generative AI into corporate operations, offering systematic assistance to companies seeking to embark on this journey.

The newly launched Gen AI Studio will offer a range of programs tailored to facilitate the commercialization of corporate AI solutions, including Gen AI Tour, Gen AI Discovery Workshop, and Gen AI Prototyping. These initiatives will showcase the diverse applications of generative AI across various industries and value chains, providing companies with valuable insights into the potential benefits and practical implementation of these advanced technologies.

At Gen AI Studio, companies can explore LG CNS’ proprietary generative AI solutions, including the DAP GenAI Platform and Multimodal Engine Drag, designed to enhance business processes and productivity. Additionally, they can gain insights into advanced generative AI offerings from leading global tech companies such as Microsoft, Google, and AWS, broadening their understanding of the diverse capabilities of these technologies.

The Discovery Workshop program encourages collaboration between companies and LG CNS experts to ideate and evaluate generative AI solutions tailored to specific business objectives. Participants receive comprehensive support throughout the ideation and feasibility assessment process from various experts, including the Generative AI Business Group, AI technology specialists, Generative AI engineers, user experience (UX) professionals, and facilitators.

During the prototyping phase at Gen AI Studio, ideas generated through collaboration can be validated through technical verification and user testing. LG CNS plans to conduct comprehensive testing to assess the optimization and applicability of Generative AI services within the company’s existing operational framework. This process aims to minimize trial and error, allowing businesses to innovate efficiently by understanding essential factors such as data requirements, system infrastructure, and implementation costs.

LG CNS intends to expedite its Generative AI initiatives following the establishment of the AI Center, a specialized enterprise AI division dedicated to research, business discovery, and execution.

Currently, approximately 10 Generative AI projects are underway across various sectors, including manufacturing, finance, and the public domain. The company’s goal is to pioneer the Large language model (LXM) within the domestic Gen AI service market.

Kim Seon-jeong, Chief Technology Officer of LG CNS, talked about the Gen AI Studio as a central hub integrating expertise, technology, and infrastructure essential for successful Generative AI endeavors.
