LG CNS and Dell Technologies Partner to Drive AI Infrastructure Innovation

LG CNS has partnered with Dell Technologies to strengthen AI infrastructure and expand the AI business ecosystem. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on February 13 at LG CNS’s headquarters in Magok, a step toward AI transformation for local and global markets.

Through this collaboration, LG CNS plans to enhance its AI technology and position itself as a key Korean partner within the open ecosystem of the Dell AI Factory. The partnership will focus on developing advanced AI infrastructure solutions to support businesses in their digital transformation efforts.

The Dell AI Factory is designed to support a wide range of AI applications by integrating cutting-edge technologies, such as high-performance GPUs and large language models, with Dell’s servers, storage, client devices, and software solutions. This open ecosystem approach enables businesses to build scalable and flexible AI infrastructure, making it a key element of LG CNS and Dell Technologies’ collaboration.

To drive AI transformation, the two companies will establish an AI infrastructure council to oversee joint projects and facilitate ongoing technology exchanges. LG CNS also plans to develop AI infrastructure specialists through Dell Technologies’ training programs, ensuring a steady supply of skilled professionals in the field.

Since 2022, LG CNS has been investing in high-performance computing (HPC) and other advanced infrastructure solutions to support the growing demand for AI-powered applications. The company has built a robust technical foundation to deliver AI infrastructure services, enabling businesses to efficiently process complex computations and manage large datasets.

Looking ahead, LG CNS and Dell Technologies plan to extend their collaboration beyond AI infrastructure to AI solutions and services. They will explore integrating LG CNS’s generative AI platform, DAP GenAI, and LG Research Institute’s super-scale AI model, EXAONE, with Dell AI Factory. This expansion aims to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and unlock new industry possibilities.

As part of its AI growth strategy, LG CNS has been increasing investments in AI infrastructure and applications. Since 2022, the company has operated a specialized technology unit focused on high-performance computing (HPC) to ensure a stable supply and seamless deployment of AI infrastructure.

LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun emphasized that starting in 2025, the company will drive customer value innovation through generative AI across industries such as finance, manufacturing, retail, and telecommunications. He further stated that AI infrastructure is a key foundation for this transformation, and LG CNS will strengthen its capabilities through close collaboration with Dell Technologies.
