Hyundai Motor Group has announced the launch of its new developer conference, Pleos 25, scheduled for March 28 at COEX, Seoul. The event aims to advance software-defined vehicle (SDV) development and expand the app ecosystem for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis models. It will also serve as a platform for collaboration with mobile app developers and business partners.

At the conference, Hyundai will introduce Pleos, its newly established software brand, representing its vision for smart mobility and autonomous transportation. Pleos is designed to integrate and analyze data across movement, devices, and spaces impacting mobility through connected technology. The event will also showcase Hyundai’s next-generation infotainment app development environment and vehicle app marketplace.

Pleos is designed to seamlessly integrate data from various movements and devices, opening new possibilities for mobility solutions. At Pleos 25, Hyundai Motor Group will introduce its key SDV technologies and unveil a development environment for third-party apps in next-generation infotainment systems. This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to building a connected mobility ecosystem.

The Group will launch a new open platform that provides developers and business partners with access to Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for vehicle data and app development. This platform will enable the creation of innovative in-vehicle infotainment applications, fostering a collaborative software ecosystem.

Throughout the event, through technical sessions, Hyundai’s developers will present the latest advancements in SDVs, artificial intelligence (AI), and autonomous driving. Attendees will gain insights into the vehicle app market and participate in hands-on programs to develop apps using the Group’s SDKs.

An exhibition space will also be set up to showcase real-world applications of Hyundai’s mobility solutions, featuring partnership cases based on vehicle data and services. This will highlight the potential of software-driven mobility and encourage further collaboration between Hyundai and the developer community.

Registrations for Pleos 25 are now open, allowing developers to sign up in advance through the official event website. Pre-registered participants will gain exclusive hands-on experience in vehicle app development using Hyundai’s SDKs. Additionally, the Group will offer one-on-one recruitment consultations, available only to those who register ahead of time.
