Samsung Electronics introduced the highly anticipated Galaxy wearables, the new wireless Galaxy Buds Live and the next-generation Galaxy Watch3, during the first-ever online Galaxy unpacked 2020 event held on Wednesday.
Samsung live-streamed the event at the CJ ENM Studio located in the Ilsan, Goyang Gyeonggi Province.
Galaxy Buds Live
The Galaxy Buds Live adopts a new bean-shape look boasting premium audio technology thanks to AKG‘s sound expertise. The new wireless earpiece also features active noise cancellation for deeper and more vibrant sound quality. The buds include a 12 mm speaker and bass duct, three microphones, and a Voice Pickup Unit, which ensures clear and loud voice detection.
Galaxy Buds Live exhibits easy compatibility with a broad range of devices. Switching between compatible devices does not require disconnecting and reconnecting again.
The device also works as a wireless microphone to record crystal clear audio, enable an immersive gaming experience, and share music via the new Buds Together feature when used with the Galaxy Note 20.
The Galaxy Buds Live offers a sensitive physical user interface for touch control and a Bixby voice activation for hands-free navigation and messaging. The buds include a long battery life that can support 6 hours of playback and an additional 15 hours over multiple charges. A quick charge of 5 minutes can add in 1 hour of playtime.
Galaxy Watch3
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch3 showcases a combination of excellent health and wellness features with timeless craftsmanship. The watch comes in 41 mm and 45 mm sizes and both available in Bluetooth and LTE options.
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch3 displays a luxury timepiece with exceptional craftsmanship built with high-quality materials like stainless steel and leather. The smartwatch also comes in a durable titanium model. The device presents a larger screen display that users could customize according to their preference.

The smartwatch could measure and monitor blood pressure and electrocardiogram readings through the new Samsung Health Monitor app. The device could also measure oxygen saturation, give running and workout analysis reports, and oxygen uptake.
The Galaxy Watch3 also provides access to fitness videos with Samsung Health by pairing it with a Galaxy smartphone or a Samsung Smart TV. If an accident or a fall occurs, the smartwatch could send an SOS to specified contacts.
The Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Watch3 are available on August 6, 2020, in selected countries.
