Cash-Free, File Free KB Kookmin Bank open ‘KB Digital Financial Shop’

KB Kookmin Bank has opened ‘KB Digital Finance Store,’ a cash free, file free digital window store in Unyang, Gimpo.

KB Digital Finance Store has established a customer-centered consulting environment by separating space of its branches into digital zones, shopping zones, and consulting zones. In the Digital Zone, customers can use simple banking services such as cash inflows, credit card issuance, and utility bills through smart Teller Machine (STM), ATM (Automated Teller Machine), without waiting time.

Smart Manager handles simple tasks directly from standing window so that customers can use digital devices without any difficulties. At the consulting zone, professional and comfortable financial counseling can be provided through personalized windows in the form of VIP rooms provided by all customers. If a customer uses reservation counseling, convenience is increased as it can provide counseling without waiting time. There is no cash transaction at the consultation window and it is easy to fill out documents via digital format.

The “Waiting Zone” is set up as a separate space with a relaxed and trendy atmosphere. KB Kookmin Bank said that KB Digital Finance is the first operating model for commercial banks, and it has applied financial systems and space design that are optimized for customers’ purposes to use them.

“After a trial period, it will apply variety of types of facilities to general retailers.”
