SK Telecom is going to introduce 5G media and mobility technology at CES 2019, the world’s largest IT and home appliance exhibition that will be held in Las Vegas on the 8th.
SK Telecom is going to first set up a booth at the Central Hall under the theme of ‘5G x Next Entertainment (SKT 5G and next-generation entertainment that will be created by SM contents’ along with major Asian entertainment company SM Entertainment. It is going to implement variety of next-generation media services such as social VR, HoloBox, and AI media technologies.
It is also going to set up a booth at North Hall under SK Innovation and SK Hynix‘s innovative mobility and introduce major self-driving technologies such as updating of LiDAR’s HD map that is owned by SK Telecom.
