On the 25th of this month KT connected its 5G network to B;eat, an autonomous robot cafe located in Samsung Life Insurance building in downtown Gangnam, Seoul.
B;eat is a robot cafe under the coffee brand dal.komm coffee. Barista robots take orders and receive commands from 5G MHS (Mobile Hot Spot), which receives signals directly from 5G base stations without a wired internet connection.
The 5G network installed in the robot cafe recognizes visitors through mounted CCTVs which transmit video to managers that oversee the process.
