LG Electronics launched on Monday its latest LG Tone Free lineup of wireless earbuds, the LG HBS-FN7, which features Active Noise Cancellation technology. LG said that the new addition is the most advanced true wireless earbuds yet.
The LG HBS-FN7 combines all the benefits of the previous model LG HBS-FN6 including incredibly comfortable in-ear fit, noise isolation performance, Meridian-tuned premium sound, intuitive user experience, and a hygienic UVnano charging case. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) installed in the FN7 and the FN6’s features provide an even superior personal audio experience.
LG TONE Free FN7 neutralizes external sounds using three microphones found in each earbud that monitor soundwaves coming from all directions. The patented twist-fit Vortex Ribs design for the adjustable ear gels deliver a firmer seal to minimize noise leakage.
Activation of the ANC neutralizes almost all environmental noise and makes voice sound clearer and more natural.

The Meridian Audio technology enables the Free Tone FN7 to recreate a natural soundstage that imitates listening to real loudspeakers.
The LG TONE Free app could get accessed for both Android and iOS devices. Users could also play with Meridian EQ’s four customized sound settings: Natural, Immersive, Bass Boost, and Treble Boost.
The Natural sound setting provides a clean and balanced sound, while the Immersive setting creates a three-dimensional performance sound. The Bass Boost gives extra depth and good power, while the Treble Boost brings clarity and precision to vocals.
The LG TONE Free FN7 also includes high-quality silicone-infused drivers, which delivers fuller and richer bass sounds. The earbuds also contain a dome with a firmer metal layer that offers denser texture dampers to resolve mid-high frequencies better.
The HBS-FN7 boasts LG’s innovative UVnano charging case, which originated from the LG TONE Free FN6. The UVnano case utilizes ultraviolet light to disinfect the earbud’s inner mesh from S. aureus and E.coli. The LED lighting on top of the case also makes it easier to check the charging level and UVnano status.
Park Hyung-woo, LG Home Entertainment Company’s audio and video division head, stated that LG strived to create more alternatives for consumers. LG’s portfolio diversifies, including LG’s newest TONE Free earbuds, to serve audiophiles who wish for the best in audio technology.
The LG TONE Free FN7 would also be available in Europe, North America, and Asia starting in the fourth quarter.
