LG Electronics unveils LG ThinQ AI “smart villas,” in partnership with YAMED Promotion, Morocco’s premium real estate company. By equipping the villas of the Terre Océane project with LG’s dynamic LG ThinQ tech-powered appliances, both companies hope to leverage on the growing smart home market.
Potential buyers can find air conditioners, refrigerators, air purifiers, washing machines, and even televisions interconnected in Yamed’s currently listed beautiful model villas, Villa Helia and Villa Aura. Potential buyers would experience what the lifestyle-enhancing smart appliances can bring into their dream homes.
Homeowners can manage all LG home appliances through a smart home appliance management app, which uses Google Assistant voice recognition technology. Users can download the app into their smartphones and connect through Wi-Fi.
LG’s latest devices, including the InstaViewTM refrigerators, TWINWashTM laundry machines, and OLED, and NanoCell TVs, were placed throughout the model houses.
Users will appreciate the incredible ease of controlling and monitoring their devices via conversational voice commands using ThinQ AI technology. The app provides real-time status updates for all connected LG devices in one command. This feature would provide homeowners the ultimate convenience of a connected home.
Users can verbally request the ThinQ AI app to adjust the temperature of the air conditioner while driving home without having to stop to check the phone or to check the remaining washing machine cycle time from the office.
Ease of Use
LG integrated appliances with LG ThinQ AI to provide optimal comfort. The intuitive platform makes it possible to carry out several operations, making the life of its users more comfortable.
Users can place the TWINWashTM laundry machines in operation before attending an important event. They can also program the air conditioner to turn on 5 minutes before coming home. The InstaViewTM refrigerators can inform about the expiration dates of products inside it or turn on the air purifier after dinner preparation.
OLED and NanoCell TVs are the world’s first AI televisions to support voice control in Arabic. LG equipped both TVs with second-generation A9 and A7 processors. Users can control the devices with LG’s Magic Remote equipped with the voice-activation feature. LG’s Magic Remote uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology.
LG ThinQ AI also allows each TV to listen, reflect, and respond to each user. By simplifying settings, LG’s ThinQ AI platform uses a deep learning algorithm to evolve according to user requests and preferences and to produce a better image and sound quality automatically.
Personalization
The electronics company designed LG ThinQ AI to work in sync with each household user. LG ThinQ AI studies what users love and their behavior. The technology, then, would analyze product preferences and usage patterns, providing truly personalized experiences for everyone at home.
Proactive Customer Service LG ThinQ AI harnesses the power of AI and data analytics to provide customer support services based on usage patterns and the status of each device. The LG ThinQ AI platform also provides recommendations on how to troubleshoot, maintain, and manage each home appliance quickly.

Efficiency
More and more homeowners who seek to manage their spending habits can now program smart appliances to operate more efficiently. An LG refrigerator can track the residents’ usage patterns and automatically run in “economy mode.”
The mode would initiate during the least frequently used hours for optimal energy consumption.
LG’s ThinQ AI technology also allows remote temperature control with the LG DUALCOOL air conditioners.
