Huawei is accelerating the creation of a global information and communication technology ( ICT ) ecosystem. The company announced it would support partner companies’ digital transformation with the ‘Huawei Empower Program’ and invest $300 million (about 416.5 billion won) in building a talent pool over the next three years. Huawei is setting up new cloud regions in Indonesia and Ireland. Huawei plans to provide cloud services annually in more than 170 countries and areas.

Huawei unveiled various innovative infrastructure solutions that lead digitalization at ‘HUAWEI CONNECT 2022’ held in Bangkok, Thailand. ICT industry officials who attended the event discussed the topic of ‘Innovative Infrastructure to Unleash Digital’ and explored future directions and opportunities for digitalization. Huawei Enterprise Business Group President Ryan Ding introduced Huawei’s vision under the theme of ‘Empowering Industry, Creating Value’ as a keynote speaker. “A deeper digital transformation helps businesses better adapt to an ever-changing world. We are helping to promote it,” he said.

Ding explained that Huawei is leveraging connectivity, computing and cloud technologies to collaborate with partners to drive continuous innovation and synergies between multiple technologies and create scenario-based solutions to meet diverse customer needs. He emphasized that this will allow customers to make more excellent value and realize the ‘last mile of digital transformation more easily.

Bob Chen, Vice President of Huawei’s Enterprise Business Group, explained how important the synergy between different technologies is in finding the right technology for the exemplary scenario. Vice President Chen said in his keynote on the theme of ‘Digital Transformation, ‘” Data is the core of digital transformation, and data collection, transmission, storage and analysis are significant steps. Huawei is By providing a full-stack product portfolio; we are accelerating the digital transformation of businesses.”

Data connectivity, transport and storage are essential axes in this process. In terms of data connectivity, Huawei has improved its intelligent cloud network solution, which includes Cloud Fabric ( CloudFabric ), Cloud Broadband Network ( CloudWAN ) and Cloud Campus ( CloudCampus ). The solution provides businesses with an easy, fast and streamlined experience. Regarding data transmission, Huawei is exploring ways to reshape industrial productivity by applying 5G wired networks ( F5G), which are developing in various industries. It also launched new products and solutions for all-optical bearing solutions, networks, campuses, and sensing. In addition, Huawei has launched the ‘Huawei Empower Program’ for data storage. 

 Huawei ICT Academy and Huawei Authorized Learning Partner; HALP ) will build a talent pool. This program helps Huawei’s partners build three capabilities to serve customers better: digital transformation consulting and planning, product and portfolio expertise, and solution development. Huawei also announced that it would invest $300 million in the program over the next three years to support its global partners.

Huawei Cloud currently operates 75 availability zones in 29 regions worldwide, including China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore. Huawei Cloud embarks on the ‘To the Cloud, to the World’ ecosystem plan with partners to accelerate the development of the global digital industry ecosystem. Huawei Cloud plans to launch 15 new services worldwide.
