Bank salad is a service that shows data by financial companies such as banks, cards, and insurance.
Recently, it introduced a service that allows data on real assets such as real estate and cars to be viewed and analyzed beyond just house keeping diary. In order to preempt these market opportunities, Rainist is focusing on collecting and linking various data.
Recently, the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) started a service that links health examination data with financial solutions. It introduced ‘insurance design’ service that recommends insurance that is most needed according to a person’s health condition to reduce unnecessary expenses through customization.
The solution in effect recommends cards with higher discount rates for insurance that corresponds to the individual health conditions with interest rates around only 0.1%.
To this end, Bank salad has invested more than $0.8M USD (1 B KRW) annually in development of algorithms that can recommend financial company products.
The data market is expected to expand significantly this year. The government has deployed $8.9M USD (10B KRW) in budget for the “My Data” project, which uses personal data or shares it with a third party under its consent this year. Amid this trend, it is predicted that this year will be the first year for the data economy to become active.
Bank salad has been downloaded more than 10 million times this year. It is already cruising as the maximum number of downloads per day has exceeded 30,000.
