LG CNS has unveiled DAP GenAI, a Generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed to cater to enterprise customers seeking to enhance their work efficiency in a secure setting. The service allows businesses to integrate DAP GenAI by installing it on their preferred infrastructure.
DAP GenAI comprises three key modules: AI Service, AI Prompt, and LLMOps, each serving as a distinct component in the broader enterprise adoption of language AI solutions.
This platform operates exclusively with a company’s internal information assets, including documents and databases, safeguarding against AI hallucinations that might generate misleading or distorted content.
DAP GenAI helps customers choose from four large language models (LLMs), including OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Antropic’s Claude, Google’s PaLM2, and LG AI Research’s EXAONE. By enabling the installation of this platform on an enterprise’s infrastructure, such as their servers or cloud, LG CNS provides accessibility and versatility for a range of AI services, from document summarization and classification to more complex applications like product recommendations and data-driven report generation.
“If a financial company wants to develop an AI service that recommends insurance products for consumers, all they need to do is to set up the company’s customer information database to check the consumer’s information when entering questions, prompts to search for suitable products, and LLMs for recommendations and answers,” LG CNS said.
The company is also considering the addition of other LLMs to enhance the platform’s offerings further.
The platform enables companies to build applications tailored to their needs, from straightforward tasks like document summarization and categorization to more intricate functions like product recommendations and data-driven report generation.
Furthermore, LG CNS recognizes the concern of information security for organizations when employing generative AI. As such, the platform incorporates measures to prevent data leaks, including de-identifying sensitive personal data like social security numbers and mobile phone numbers.
LG CNS has pre-registered security filters to help safeguard confidential information and even allows customers to create and implement custom filters according to their internal security protocols.
Furthermore, the platform includes a critical component for unleashing the potential of generative AI: the capability to create “prompts.” These prompts serve as the basis for AI interactions.
With this, customers can readily employ prompts that have been expertly crafted by LG CNS, addressing various scenarios, including generating marketing content. Moreover, the platform permits the creation of new prompts, offering a means to optimize outcomes for diverse applications.
“LG CNS is accelerating its business by securing generative AI service models in fields such as language, image, and coding. Recently, we developed DRAG, an image-generating AI based on multimodal (technology to input and output to AI services in various ways such as image, text, and voice), and in June, we unveiled AI Coding, a code-generating AI,” said Park.
